Update of JET Article Template and Author Guidelines for 2027 Publications
Journal of Education and Teaching (JET) announces that the journal will implement a revised article template and updated Author Guidelines for manuscripts intended for publication beginning with the 2027 editions.
This update is part of JET’s commitment to improving manuscript quality, consistency, research transparency, publication ethics, and alignment with international academic publishing standards. The revised template includes updates to:
- Manuscript structure and formatting;
- Citation and reference style;
- Use of DOI and complete bibliographic information;
- Acknowledgements and funding statements;
- Author Contributions (CRediT);
- Conflict of Interest declaration;
- Data Availability Statement;
- Ethics Approval and Informed Consent;
- Consent for Publication, where applicable;
- Disclosure of AI-assisted technologies; and
- Formatting and presentation of tables, figures, and other manuscript components.
Authors preparing manuscripts for publication in 2027 and subsequent editions are required to use the new JET article template. Authors are encouraged to carefully review the updated Author Guidelines and ensure that their manuscripts comply with all requirements before submission. The new template and revised Author Guidelines will be available through the JET Open Journal System (OJS). We appreciate the cooperation of all authors, reviewers, editors, and academic partners in supporting this transition.
